Dysport

Dysport is an FDA-approved neurotoxin first introduced for cosmetic use in 2009. Its effects typically last 3 to 4 months before requiring re-treatment. Due to differences in formulation, Dysport units are not equivalent to Botox units, with a typical conversion ratio of 2.5 to 3 units of Dysport per 1 unit of Botox.
Jeuveau
Jeuveau is an FDA-approved neurotoxin first introduced for cosmetic use in 2019. Its effects typically last 3 to 4 months before requiring re-treatment.
Xeomin
Xeomin is an FDA-approved neurotoxin first introduced for cosmetic use in 2011. Its effects typically last 3 to 4 months before requiring re-treatment. Unlike other neurotoxins, Xeomin is uniquely purified, containing no additives or complexing proteins, making it a great option for individuals with sensitivities.
Neuromodulators Pre and Post Instructions
Before Treatment:
To reduce side effects and achieve the best results:

Avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours before treatment to minimize bruising.

Try to schedule your appointment at least two weeks before any big event (e.g., wedding, vacation) to allow time for healing.

Avoid anti-inflammatory/blood-thinning medications (Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Aleve, Vitamin E, St. John’s Wort, etc.) for two weeks before treatment to reduce bruising.

Avoid treatment during your menstrual cycle if you are prone to bruising.

Skip intense exercise on the day of your appointment.
After Treatment:

Avoid heavy lifting, strenuous exercise, or lying down for 2-3 hours after treatment.

Do not rub or massage the treated area for at least 3 hours (no facials, peels, or microdermabrasion).

Make facial expressions in the treated area (smiling, frowning, raising eyebrows) for one hour to help the product bind properly.

Results take 2-14 days to appear—contact the office after two weeks if you don’t see the desired effect.

You can apply makeup before leaving, but avoid Retin-A, Glycolic acid, and Vitamin C products near the treated areas for 24 hours.
